Ai note
Despite the liberal use of mdashes in my content, I don't publish any text that is raw Ai generated. I sometimes use Ai as the starting point or 'skeleton' for an article but this is only ever the starting point. All content is mine and manually produced.
Purpose of the website
I want this website to provide uncomplicated and helpful information / ideas on the topics of accessibility and inclusion. I purposefully (try to) avoid overly technical or polemical content. One of the key reasons for this is I remember what it was like when I first attempted to learn about: accessibility, inclusion and, in particular, front-end development. While some writers stood out as leading in simplifying such topics (CSS Tricks, for example), many, despite what I suspect were their best efforts, still assumed far too much prior knowledge.
How I built this website
I hand-coded everything in this website (which is one of the reasons for its humble appearance).
The website is built using the (excellent) Eleventy static site generator.
Credit to Erik Kroes for his accessible focus indicator style (Oreo) which I have used in the stylesheet for this website.
Credits to important humans

There are, of course, so many more kind people who have helped me and to them I truly thank you.
